I didn’t grow up surrounded by luxury, resources, or opportunity. I grew up on a humble farm in Brazil, a simple life with very few toys, very little money, and a world that many would consider small — but to me, it was the place where God first began shaping my purpose.
While other children played with gadgets and games, my companions were nature and animals. The chickens, the pigs, the dogs, the horses — they were my friends. The river, the trees, the dirt roads, the flowers — they were my playground. The beauty of creation was the first teacher I ever had.
Through nature, I learned to observe. Through animals, I learned connection. Through simplicity, I learned gratitude. And through the harmony of every detail — the petals, the colors, the lines of the leaves — I began to see God.
He spoke to me through the quiet. He shaped my eye through the colors of the land. He taught me beauty through creation long before I ever held a makeup brush.
As I grew older, life changed quickly. I became a mother in my teenage years — young, scared, and determined to create a better future. That season refined me with fire. It taught me resilience, sacrifice, and the courage to fight for my dreams.
With a baby in my arms and purpose burning in my chest, I ran toward the only world that felt natural to me: beauty, creativity, and transformation. I practiced on family, friends, and anyone who trusted me. I studied endlessly, paying attention to every detail — just like I did when studying nature as a child.
I worked as a hairdresser, makeup artist, lash artist, and eventually as a permanent makeup artist. Each job shaped another piece of me. But something deeper began to emerge:
I realized that beauty was not vanity. Beauty was identity. Beauty was expression. Beauty was healing. Beauty was purpose.
I watched women sit in my chair with insecurity, doubt, or lost identity… and leave transformed — not just on the outside, but on the inside. There was something sacred happening, something that reminded me of the harmony I saw in nature as a child.
Every face, like every flower, had its own design. Every personality had its own rhythm. Every woman had her own story written in her features. This revelation led me to develop the Jhellen Eyebrow Visagism Method, a personalized approach to beauty rooted in identity, personality, behavior, and emotional expression — not trends or artificial standards.
Over the past 16+ years, I’ve served more than 18,000 clients, trained artists, opened studios in two states, created a cosmetics line, built an academy, and raised two extraordinary boys.
My purpose today extends far beyond PMU or aesthetics. I speak to women about identity, purpose, and faith. I lead groups on self-development and spiritual growth. I mentor artists from all backgrounds. And I am preparing to launch a nonprofit for teen mothers — women who need hope, opportunity, and someone to tell them “Your story is not over.”
I want every woman to know: you were not created to simply survive. You were created for legacy, purpose, and beauty that reflects the identity God placed inside of you.
The world may look artificial. Social media may look perfect. But true beauty is born in simplicity, in nature, in faith, in resilience, and in the quiet places where God whispers: “I made you for more.”
My journey, from a small farm in Brazil to where I stand today, is proof that nothing is impossible when you walk with purpose and allow God to lead your steps. If He did it for me, He can do it for you too.
This is my story — and my prayer is that it inspires you to rise into yours.
